About the Owner

Hello! I'm Jennifer West, paralegal and the owner of Big Sky Paralegal, LLC.

I am an experienced paralegal providing comprehensive legal support across a broad range of practice areas, including criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, probate and estate administration, and real property matters. I am committed to helping attorneys and clients navigate complex legal issues with professionalism, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of legal procedures.

Throughout my career, I have assisted with all stages of case development, from initial client intake and case organization to legal research, document preparation, court filings, and trial preparation.

In criminal cases, I assist with case management, discovery review, legal research, motion preparation, and trial support. In family law matters, I help prepare pleadings and supporting documents related to dissolution proceedings, parenting plans, custody disputes, child support, and other domestic relations issues. My civil litigation experience includes drafting and filing pleadings, managing discovery, organizing evidence, and supporting attorneys through settlement negotiations and trial preparation.

I also have extensive experience in probate and estate matters, assisting with estate administration, probate filings, inventories, accountings, and the preparation of documents necessary to guide families through the probate process. In addition, I prepare and review deeds and other real property documents, helping ensure that property transfers and related transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
